L'Analyste financier réalise toute enquête confiée à partir des informations disponibles ou collectées par tout moyen de communication, et dont il vérifie la fiabilité, l'actualité et la cohérence. Il complète sur la base de données, les zones de fichiers correspondantes, rédige des textes conformes aux prestations demandées et crée, accepte ou modifie les rapports de solvabilités produits par Coface Services West Africa.

L'analyste financier s'acquitte des tâches suivantes :

ð Analyse financières des entreprises, au moyen d'outils d'analyse crédit, ratios analytiques, analyse managériale et stratégique.
ð Analyses sectorielles en s'appuyant sur des données micro et macro économiques, permettant de ressortir les tendances et perspectives.
ð Evaluation et compréhension des risques associés à chaque transaction, chaque produit et chaque entreprise enquêtée (Acheteur).
ð Visite et entretien avec les responsables des entreprises enquêtées, si nécessaire.
ð Assiste les Arbitres, dans le suivi de la qualité du crédit, en les alertant immédiatement, dès les premiers signes de détérioration du crédit de l'entreprise (Acheteur).
ð Fournit un service à forte exigence qualitative, centré sur l'exactitude, la réactivité et la transmission rapide de l'analyse au Client.

Selon son expérience, il (elle) peut prendre en charge des enquêtes et analyses courantes ou complexes, assurer des missions de relecture, de conseil et participer à la formation du nouveau personnel.

Il (elle) doit respecter les procédures, délais et obligations contractuelles de confidentialité sur les données (Code éthique CSWA).

Compétences:

- Niveau bac + 4/5 dominante audit/gestion/économie et pratique de l'analyse financière
- Connaissance de l'analyse financière et de l'environnement des affaires
- Réactivité ; aisance relationnelle et maîtrise de l'outil informatique
- Capacité à réaliser du recouvrement de créances
- Anglais courant impératif
- L'activité revêt un caractère confidentiel.

The U.S. Embassy/USAID in Abidjan is seeking an individual for the position of Financial Analyst
for USAID/PEPFAR.

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION

This position is located in the PEPFAR Office, US Embassy, Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire (CI). The primary purpose of this position is to perform financial analysis and provide financial support and management advice to PEPFAR/CI's Executive and Technical Teams and Activities Managers. Works in close collaboration with USAID/West Africa Financial Management Office (FM) and is empowered to conduct Controller functions in accordance with an approved OFM delegation of authority. As a USAID employee, the incumbent carries responsibility to understand and incorporate the Agency's five core values in all aspects of his/her work. These core values are:

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item.

1. Possession of a university bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a business administration degree with a concentration in accounting is required. A CPA or other professional accounting certification is required.

2. Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in professional accounting, or auditing, or financially oriented business management is required. Prior CPA firm audit experience is also required.

3. Level IV (fluency) reading/speaking/writing in both English and French is required. Language proficiency will be tested.

4. Must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of professional accounting, budgeting and auditing principles, theories, practices and terminology related to both public and private institutions. Excellent computer skills including: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook is required.

5. Ability to analyze data, narrative reports, internal control flowcharts, etc., to permit detection of project strengths and weaknesses & make independent judgments of institutions' financial capability is required.

6. Ability to plan, organize, and perform tasks within an allotted timeframe and find solutions to problems using your creativity, reasoning, and past experiences along with the available information and resources as well as Excellent computer skills including: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of USAID, Embassy and other USG personnel as well as external contacts are also required.

SELECTION PROCESS

When fully qualified, U.S. Citizen Eligible Family Members (USEFMs) and U.S. Veterans are given preference. Therefore, it is essential that the candidate specifically address the required qualifications above in the application.

ADDITIONAL SELECTION CRITERIA

1. Management will consider nepotism/conflict of interest, budget, and residency status in determining successful candidacy.

2. Current employees serving a probationary period are not eligible to apply.

3. Current Ordinarily Resident employees with an Overall Summary Rating of Needs Improvement or Unsatisfactory on their most recent Employee Performance Report are not eligible to apply.

4. Currently employed U.S. Citizen EFMs who hold a Family Member Appointment (FMA) are ineligible to apply for advertised positions within the first 90 calendar days of their employment.

5. Currently employed NORs hired under a Personal Services Agreement (PSA) are ineligible to apply for advertised positions within the first 90 calendar days of their employment

unless currently hired into a position with a When Actually Employed (WAE) work schedule.
